She was preparing and recording her next album “Blackout” at the same time when all that madness happened.

February 17th 2007 Britney Spears lost her mind and entered a salon, held electric clippers and shaved her head bald, that happened after spending one day in rehab at Eric Clapton’s crossroads recovery center, then flying back to L.A where she went to her ex-husband’s house Kevin demanding to see her children but her request was denied until she checks into Promises rehab center for observation.
